In this project, efforts are made to scientifically assess social-emotional skills such as curiosity, perseverance, flexibility, and stress resilience.                                                                                                                                 

The DiGaMe project aims to provide tailored instructions within mathematics education, customized to meet the individual needs of each student, while simultaneously increasing engagement and motivation.                                                                              

The Tope Sterk projects aim to increase opportunities for young people in vulnerable situations through student tutoring.Students from higher education act as guides to support pupils in primary or secondary education in their learning process.                                    

Howest, through STEAMhive, plays a pivotal role in the field of STEM in leisure activities. Within STEAMhive III, Howest provides support to organisations aiming to establish extracurricular STEM activities from the Mind- and Makerspace and The Enterprise.                        

Creating digital content (marketing campaigns, websites, apps and VR/AR applications) requires a thorough understanding of end-user experiences and responses. Traditional methods such as surveys provide valuable insights, but often miss the unconscious responses.                 

LoREco, as an ESF transition project, aims to explore ways to achieve this goal. The objective is to strengthen the local economy and social fabric within cities by using a complementary currency and a guaranteed income linked to it.
